OTHER Formats

In the past AAUP has received requests for the book data in formats other than the HTML-coded lists we publish online. AAUP has provided, on a limited basis, text and spreadsheet files to university press partners in the book industry, such as wholesalers and library jobbers.

In September 2005, the back-office functionality of Books for Understanding was significantly enhanced, allowing us to create tab-separated text files quickly and easily for all new lists (including the Hurricane Katrina bibliography).

AAUP is happy to provide the book data to libraries, wholesalers, retailers, and instructors. Please contact the Project Manager at bmclaughlin@aaupnet.org to discuss arrangements for receiving the lists in alternate formats.

Two lists, Iraq and the Nonprofit Sector, are available in a printable PDF files, and will be emailed on request.
