David Boonin is a professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His interests lie in the areas of applied ethics, ethical theory, and the history of ethics. Joan Rothschild, author of The Dream of the Perfect Child (Indiana University Press), is research associate at the Center for Human Environments, CUNY Graduate Center, and professor emerita, University of Massachusetts Lowell.
